Paul Evans of Liquid Rubber Melbourne and Findlay-Evans Waterproofing showcase a recently completed job at Bega Cheese in New South Wales. The task involved applying liquid rubber to a chemical bond area used for storing chemical buns in cheese making, requiring thorough preparation and precise application.

problem:

Solution & Approach:
Thorough cleaning of the concrete.
Allowing the concrete to dry.
Applying a prime product to seal the concrete and prevent chemicals from leaching out.
Masking off areas that didn’t need to be sprayed.

Fixing method:
Used a purpose-built spray rig in their liquid rubber mobile van.
Applied a 1.5mm thick coating to the entire confinement area.

Results:
The client was satisfied with the process.
Plans to return to do the fire services take in the near future.
