Roof Coatings & Waterproofing

A Seamless, Adaptable, and Durable Solution for Roof Waterproofing

Liquid Applied Membranes have unique properties that make these ideal as a roof waterproofing product.

Heat Reflective Roof Membrane

Liquid Waterproofing Products have the capability to conform to the shape of any roof, seal around rooftop utilities, services and roof penetrations.

Repairs to Leaking Roof

Findlay & Evans, accredited Waterproofers AND Registered Builders based in Melbourne and over 30 years in the construction industry, are great advocates of liquid waterproofing membranes – especially for roof and rooftops.

  • Torch On and Sheet Membranes have joins or seams or overlaps.
  • Seams can be a point of weakness in a roof membrane as they have potential to delaminate, crack or peel with aging, UV exposure and time.
  • Leaking roofs often have water ingress via joins/seams  which will then track underneath the membrane, often travelling great distances from the original source of entry.
  • Liquid Roof Membranes provide a waterproofing system that is one continuous monolithic barrier – NO SEAMS, JOINS OR OVERLAPS.
  • Liquid Waterproofing Products are the method of choice for complex and irregular shaped roofs.
  • Liquid Membranes can be spraying applied over existing roof membranes - so there is often no need to removed the old membrane or roof.
Our roof membranes provide waterproofing in one continuous monolithic barrier – without seams, joins or overlaps.

Roof repairs using Liquid Applied Membrane with irregular shaped roof & another with various rooftop services & utilities.
Liquid Rubber provides a permanent waterproof barrier that will seal completely all rooftop services in one continuous spray applied membrane.
Doesn't matter whether vertical or horizontal or what surface shape - Liquid Membranes contour accordingly.

Waterproofing Method for Flat Roof

  • Findlay & Evans preferred roof waterproof method is cold spray-applied Liquid Rubber waterproofing system.
  • Liquid Membranes provide water protection to a wide range of surfaces; metal, concrete, timber and asbestos.

Elastomeric Roof Coatings

Amongst the many unique properties of Liquid Rubber Membranes, are two which are critical for roof waterproofing: extreme flexibility combined with strong adhesion – both ideal qualities for a rooftop waterproofing membrane.

  • Guaranteed fully bonded membrane system.
  • Extreme adhesion to nearly all substrates.
  • No lifting, peeling or splitting of seams, joins or overlaps.
  • Extreme Flexibility – so the waterproof membrane moves with roof contraction and expansion.
  • Robust Waterproof Barrier – our roof waterproofing method provides strong adherence.
  • High Performance – UV stable, pollution, salt & chemical resistant.

Liquid Rubber waterproofing membranes have amazing flexibility which provides capability for thermal expansion and contraction – a necessity for all roofing structures.

Metal roof with Liquid Membrane

There are many waterproofing products that eventually crack, flake or peel as they are not engineered to move with temperature fluctuations.

  • Liquid Rubber can also encapsulate rust and asbestos and is UV stable and Eco-friendly.
  • Our flexible roofing membranes will not crack over time due to structural and/or substrate movement.

Liquid spray-applied waterproofing:

  • Rapid application – ideal for existing roofs as minimizes disruption and inconvenience.
  • Spray application molds waterproofing barrier to any shape and around roof penetrations
  • Cost effective, long term and durable waterproofing barriers

Waterproofing Membrane for Flat Concrete Roof
  • AGL Mt Bogong Power Station, the largest hydroelectric asset built on mainland Australia for more than 25 years, is located in the upper catchment of the Kiewa valley and was an extremely environmentally sensitive project.
  • To reduce the impact on the surrounding area, the final power station structure is almost entirely buried.
  • Based on experience and knowledge Paul Evans, Director of F.E.W Waterproofing, knew that Liquid Rubber was the best product for this project.
  • After Liquid Rubber roof membranes was installed, the entire area has been re-vegetated, effectively reducing the visual impact of the project on the surrounding Alpine National Park.

Findlay & Evans Waterproofing and its subsidiary Liquid Rubber Melbourne are proud to be specialist waterproofing contractor on Award Winning project at AGL Power Station.
