Exploring the Benefits of Spray-applied Liquid Rubber Membranes for Concrete Bunds
Flexible and Seamless spray-applied Liquid Rubber membranes to seal & repair concrete bunds & chemical containment areas.
Case Study: Waterproofing Repairs
FINDLAY EVANS Waterproofing were contracted to repair degraded concrete and cement sheeting in & around existing bunding confinement enclosures.
- The concrete tanks were drained and cleaned by power washing and allowed to dry to approx 25% or less moisture content.
- This was followed by cleaning and meticulous preparation of the bunding pits by wet vacuum and removal of all loose debris.
- The containment tanks were then spray applied with Liquid Rubber waterproofing membrane at a nominal 1500 micron thickness to entire base and walls of bundings and enclosures.
Concrete & Steel Tank - Remedial Waterproofing Project
Certified Liquid Rubber applicators based in Melbourne
- Liquid Rubber is designed to ”hold” ponding water and will not break down – unlike many conventional membranes which break down with standing water.
- Liquid Rubber Waterproofing Membrane System is SEAMLESS and FLEXIBLE.
- This is a monolithic membrane, without seams or joins, which fully bonds to the substrate with flexibility allowing for structural movement.
